Hopi Ear Candles

Hopi Ear Candles are hollow tubes made from organically grown flax, extracts of honey, beeswax and herbs. These candles provide a treatment of the ears and are used to treat a variety of conditions.
Hopi candles are used widely throughout the world by hospitals to treat a variety of ear, nose and throat conditions. The hopi candle treatment is a relaxing and soothing experience.
The use of Hopi candles is thought to be thousands of years old and was seen in ancient Egypt, Greece and Roman times. It is the native American Hopi Indian tribe that had the most recent influence on modern Europe and helped term the phrase hopi ear candle.

When lit, the ear candles have a slight sucking action which draws impurities to the surface where they can be gently removed. The rising air inside the ear sets up a vibration which gently massages the ear. Some wax could even work its way up to the surface 24 hours after.

Hopi Ear Candles are often used for:-

Cleaning out compacted wax in the ears
Relieving ear pain
Promoting lymphatic circulation
Alleviating allergic conditions
Relieving chronic sinusitis
Improving immune system
Restoring pressure in the ear after flying

How Hopi Candles are used

You are asked to lie comfortably on your side. The hopi ear candle is then gently placed into the ear, where it is lit and held above the ear. You will then hear a pleasant crackling sound and feel a warm comfortable sensation as the candle burns. The candle is allowed to burn down until it reaches a specific marker indicated on its side and then it is taken away whilst you relax for a few moments. The treatment is then repeated on the other ear.
